Greetings,

Well no big surprises. Any opinions on who has the inside track to win? I am betting that Ron Howard is a long shot and I suspect that Jennifer and Russell will probaby not fare well either although Russell might win since he is so loved by the Academy.

Well, from a hair and fashion point of view, I would love to see either Halle Berry or Nicole Kidman win. They always look so amazing. In the supporting category, my vote goes to Marisa Tomei. She is incredible, and maybe this time people won`t think her winning was a mistake. For Best actor, I pick Denzel Washington. He is gorgeous and it`s high time an African American is recognized.

I likely won`t be watching...After Titanic won a few years back, I vowed never to watch the Oscars again. I love the glamourous actors and actresses, but I usually hate the films their in. In other words, I like films from the 80s..I`d rather spend the night playing my synthesizer or researching Anarctica or Neptune. I might quit my job at Pacific Bell Park and go to Beauty school eventully.
