(Sorry if their names are misspelled, but it`s late and I`m pooped.)
Just saw them both on Yahoo`s entertainment photo section. Both had extensively shorter hair. Portia, who used to have some of the prettiest long hair on TV, is bra length at the longest and seems to have layers. JLH startled me with her shoulder-length look. I think she was on some Nickelodeon kids award show. I`ll try to the find the links later when I have more energy.
Jennifer cut her hair about a month ago. Its actully on the grow since she has not trimed it since the cut. There are some good pics at http://www.lovehewitt.com Portia has been gradually inching shorter since the beging of the year.

Actually Portia`s hair has been around the same length for over a year now.
As for Ms. Hewitt, if she EVER want`s to be taken seriously, she needs to cut her hair to show off her beautiful face, stop appearing on Teen award shows and finally stop trying to be a singer! (just mho)
Or, she could cut off her face to show off her beautiful hair.
Why women are supposed to sacrifice one attractive feature for the sake of another one I`ll never understand. Not that I think JLH has an attractive face.

I saw Jennifer on a teen award show tonight. Her hair looked darker and didnt do justice to her. I think a new style would be great for her. How old is she?
