"Lingerie firm 'refuses to pay Eva Herzigova over haircut'
Eva Herzigova is facing a legal battle over claims she wasn't paid for a photo shoot because of her new short haircut.
Herzigova's representatives, 1 Model Management, have filed papers against Canadian firm La Senza in Manhattan Supreme Court.
The papers claim the model flew to New York in January to do a shoot for La Senza, but that the company is refusing to pay her £20,000 fee.
In a letter attached to the papers, 1 Model Management lawyer Kenneth Sussmane warns La Senza that it has to pay up and says: "Ms Herzigova remains a very successful model with this haircut to which you refer."
The New York Post quotes a source close to the model as saying she had her hair cut short for a Louis Vuitton ad campaign.
La Senza owns and operates more than 200 stores throughout Canada, and a further 80 stores in the UK, and the Middle East."

If the place that's refusing to pay didn't know she got a haircut when they hired her, they might have an argument.
It sounds like she let another employer cut her hair, which she probably shouldn't have allowed.
Anyway, if she didn't tell the new client "Oh, by the way, I got a haircut." and she just showed up for the job with this haircut, then she's not presenting herself honestly.
I'm sure the judge will be excited to get this case. Here in America we have such terrible problems, don't we?

As long as the contract with La Senza didn't mention her hair, she'll win for sure. It sounds like an Ally McBeal case BTW!
And I agree she doesn't look good in those recent pictures, but I'm not sure it's the haircut. She's too thin! Add that miserable expression on her face that models always have and company's seem to think makes us want to buy clothes and cosmetics, and she's just scary! And SuperGrover, you're right, she does look an awful lot like David Bowie!
Hello La Senza...haven't you heard of wigs & hair extensions? Well duh.
If they didn't like her look when she showed up for the shoot then they should have plopped some add-on hair on her. And yes, I know for a fact that the majority of celeb hairstylists that work on models like this always have bags of hair with them to "fix" disasters just like this one.
And Eva...what were you thinking? She does look a male rock star....David Bowie...definitely. :-)

Add me to the list of those that can't stand the haircut on her. But I'm also smiling from ear to ear about the lawsuit. It seems like a longshot, but I hope the company wins.
If they do, watch for the Las Vegas casino to sue Celine Dion for her new haircut. Cripe, maybe we can all join in to make it a class-action suit.

There are no two ways about it, In the picture with short hair she looks awful.
Its not really the haircut, it is the colouring of the picture and the styling of the hair. Shot in a studio with correct lighting it would look alright.
Having said that, imo she looks better with longer hair !

I think that the first picture of Eva with short hair has awful lighting and is also a very unflattering angle. The 2nd picture of her with short hair looks much, much better. I think that she looks good with short hair because she has great cheekbones, and the short 'do accentuates them. Normally she photographs wonderfully, and i know that she has had some wonderful shorter hairstyles before that didnt make her look like David Bowie. I think that everyone, even models, have off-days where they dont photograph well.... let's hope that the first picture in this post just proves that fact.
