I was watching Judging Amy last night, and I was shocked to see that Tyne Daley (who plays Maxine, Amy's mother), has cut her hair. It used to be quite long (occaisionally seen in a braid in some scenes), but has been cut into what I'd call a "boring granny bob". She had been one of the few grey haired women on tv who wore it long. The change made her look a lot older, imho.
Well, there goes Tyne Daly's sex appeal! Why did she do it? Why, why, why, why, WHY!? Damn the world.
Oh my! That's one of the funniest responses ever. I almost pissed my pants. Just outstanding! I'm still laughing.
But to be fair to Tyne, she had long, beautiful hair back in her earliest movies. (Seriously, she looked great!) She started going shorter when she was paired with Clint Eastwood in Dirty Harry (Hairy?) movies. I haven't paid attention since.

No offense to Tyne Daley fans, but of all the women in the entertainment field it honestly never occured to me that anyone would look at ol' Tyne, or her hair, as a thing of beauty, or would care if she ever cut her hair or not. She reminds me a little of someone's aunt from Iowa.
