Does anyone remember Jane from the show "Paper Chase?" She played one of the law students struggling to succeed in a high pressure academic world. I loved the show, but decided that the law wasn't for me. Anyway, Jane looked great in that show. As her hair got longer in "Malcolm in the Middle," she was starting to resemble how she looked in "Paper Chase," which, I think, was a good thing. The shorter hair fits her character in "Malcolm." That doesn't mean I have to like it.
She just had a baby. That doesn't mean she needs to look matronly. Maybe she could look good in short hair, but this cut makes her look ten years older than her previous cut.
