However, she and her sister fit into that category of nebulous celebrity, that in which the celebrities attain their celebrity for no apparent reason, such as talent, brains, etc. Aside from their name, I have no idea why these two dingbats are famous. Maybe one of you can help me out here.

After seeing Paris on Oprah, she is wearing some really bad extensions. Yes, her hair is really that short. You could see her real hair through them and it was about chin length. My best friend was in the audience that day and told me about how bad they were and I watched the show to see for myself.

The girls stated on that show that they will be worth 50 MILLION when they inheret the hotel chain. They are both working girls who do lots of modeling and earn their own money right now. They own thier own house together.

Repeat, they are NOT worth 50 million YET. Its when thier parents "kick the bucket".

As far as their money goes they have ALOT more than 50 million each as of now. They may be downplaying there wealth. But the Hilton chain is worth BILLIONS and there dad owns it. His net wealth is around 550 million but give it 7-8 more years for economy to rebound and his worth will be back over a billion. The chain itself is worth more becuase it doesnt have to take into account the debt it owes also.

The hair is pulled back and pinned. her hair is currently about a couple inches below her shoulders. When she had extensions she looked like crap, or a Britney spears wantabe. If you check out wire image you will see that her real lenght is long enough to pull back and pin. I agree with some one else that said she looked good with the shorter hair and not just because I like short hair either. I read that Leisel Matthews is a relitive of theres and is fighting them for the fourtune. I have not seen any recent pics pof Lesiel since see stared in Air Force One. Anyone got any recent pics of her?

These Hilton women don't deserve any publicity. They are ok to look at, but basically they are talentless.
If they weren't daughters of the super rich no one would even care about them. In fact most people-(myself included)- don't care about them.
They just live off of the name Hilton.

I've got an idea, all of those tens of millions or billions of dollars they are going to inherit, that they did nothing to earn, not a thing, why don't we confiscate all of that money and give it to the military veterans and their families.
Or give it to the poor workers who work seventy hours a week without health insurance.
Or give it to the widows and children of all the brave firefighters who died in New York on 9/11.
Or use the money to reduce our several trillion dollar debt that our moron President and Congress are racking up, so we can preserve something for our children in the future.

Why do people worship these rich spoiled brats.
They did nothing to earn that money!
Am I envious of them?
No. I would hate to be them. They're repulsive.

There are people doing the real stuff, the hard things in life; fighting the wars, building the buildings, working at the hospitals, who deserve the credit. Not these over-privledged brats!

Get a brain. Start realizing what's really important in life, and who is really doing the necessary work of our country.



What often happens with rich guys is they may be smart if they are good at business but then they marry very attractive but low I.Q. empty headed bimbos half their age and they have these half wit kids, who get C- grades in school but they still get to go to the Ivy League colleges because of affirmative action for the rich.
Meanwhile a smart young person from a blue collar family who gets good grades is kept out of that good college so the rich half-wit brats can take up space there.
That is not good for a country in the long haul.
These Hilton brats are probably of that ilk.
Who needs them!

Not I.

For whatever reason, inheritance, luck, talent, lack of talent they are celebrities and they do get talked about here. Sadly they're probably smarter than many of the singers who make it, or others we talk about.

Of course we are not a communist state. And from reading Tina I seriously doubt a woman as free as she is condones Communism.
I've got three kids Tony so I understand what you are saying. You would like to leave them something. So would I.
However I do believe in strict inheritance taxes on the super-rich. I too, like Tina, believe they are often spoiled and did nothing to inherit their wealth and there are many people and needs much more deserving who are far more vital to our society.

And I'm a business guy and a Republican(albeit a moderate one).

I'm in good company. Warren Buffet, Bill Gates, and Donald Trump amongst others fought against a reduction in inheritance taxes.
In fact all of them argued that it weakens society to have too many wealthy young people live off of inheritance as opposed to earning their own money.
In my opinion Tina's remarks are valid. And I'm far from being a communist, or even a socialist or a liberal.

I stand by what I say.
And I'm sure my life is as interesting, if not more so, than yours is. I'm a mother, a worker, and a writer. I lived in different places and had many interesting experiences.

As far as the Hilton girls go, I do know about them. They are mediocre, at best, in everything they do. Like too many people with famous names, they were handed everything by people who were enamored with them and their background.

I grew up in a working class neighborhood. Most of us had family members in the military.
I know the stats on this. Of those raised in the upper 10% of America economically, less than 1/8 of 1% of the people serving at present in the combat zones in Iraq, are from the upper 10% of America. It is almost exclusively the middle and working class kids who are dying there, just as it has been in every war since W.W.II.
I will respect the rich when they send their kids into combat like everyone else has to do.

As far as you go sir, don't you know that the Rush Limbaugh school of politics is on the outs. He is a discredited drug addict. Like Brent said, successful businessmen who are far more successful than you are, and know far more than Rush Limbaugh will ever know, people like Buffet and Gates, understand that you have to do the right thing by the working and middle classes that build this country, that have most of the kids and fight the wars.

And the middle and working class people of America like myself are hardly lazy sir. We have the longest working week of any of the industrial countries. We work very hard at jobs that people who were raised more privledeged won't do. I work and am raising a daughter and am pregnant with another child. I am hardly lazy.
So maybe it is you who are ignorant about what you are talking about.

And quit listening to this fat, ignorant loser junkie Rush Limbaugh. He has the politics of a third world country. We would be a third world country if we listened to that ignorant idiot. We would have a class system as lopsided as Brazil, with their horrendous social problems.

And I don't care how many businesses you own, if you aren't willing to support the American worker who built this country and fought the wars for your freedom, and be willing to send your own kids into combat like the workers have to, you don't deserve your freedom.
