Katie Couric - bangs

Wow, I was sure someone would've beaten me to this post (where are you, KatieCLover?) but Katie Couric appeared on the Today Show this morning with a new 'do. About an inch shorter (off the shoulders), more layers, and very nice new bangs.

It's hard to believe that after waiting for months (years?) for Katie to get bangs, she's finally done it. It's definitely a better look for her, a lot less severe, and I do like it. Still, I wish she'd gone shorter (maybe chin length), put in more layers, and brushed it back a little bit instead of hanging straight down, which I think would look amazing on her. I also wonder how long she'll keep the bangs - she's tried them before, only to grow them out immediately. Time will tell.

Overall, though, an improvement that makes her look years younger. I'll take it!

Lots of us [fans] have been patiently waiting and watching her next move. I think the cut debuted Monday morning, actually -- but I didn't get a good look at the bangs. Today they were more across her forehead, and the chop cut was more flipped up than on Monday. Color is different too. Last week or so her light blonde highlights in the front were very noticeable. Now the color is smooth with more subtle highlights.

I think this is the best look Katie has had since going long and blonde. Hope it sticks around a while

I think she got her bangs cut at the adivce of her doctor because of the tilted head....just kidding, notice tho how she doesnt tilt her head anymore...IMO I think she looks great with the new bangs and color......

I like that she is wearing it straighter... minus the side humps..

just saw it this morning and can't say i'm a huge fan of it. it looks ordinary. kinda looks sumthin one of my high school teachers had which doesnt quite do it for me. its too drab of a color and theres not much goin on really. ya cant really see her bangs because theyre so thin and it just kinda hangs there. i thoguht she looked ten times better with it blonder and shorter and flipped out.
