To all of you,

My apologies for any inconvenience that any of you experienced for the temporary inaccessibility of this board.

I don't want to belabor what happened but assure you all that several steps have been taken and money has been spent by HairBoutique.com to make sure that there is no further disruption of any kind to the HairTalk boards.

I took some time and seriously evaluated all the issues and made the decision to relaunch the boards so that they are better and stronger than before. I want to thank all that emailed me and called with support and suggestions for relaunching HairTalk to make it a better place for the long term.

The problem threads have been permanently removed and new moderators (some paid for by HairBoutique.com) have been put in place to return HairTalk to a friendly place to visit. All the folks that caused the trouble have been permanently banned from posting here.

All inappropriate posts will be immediately removed.

Celebrity Hair Talk was originally opened as the request of Jerky Flea many years ago and it should be noted that as we brought the boards back online, it was the first board reopened for posting.

Thank you for all your understanding and for your patience during our challening experiences. I am committed to making Hair Talk work for the long term.

Thanks Karen. I am just glad to be back on the board that has the best celebrity hair talk on the web and you are right, it all started with JerkyFlea.

I want to add my sincere thanks for bringing back the boards. Karen, thanks so much for all that you and Hairboutique do for this community. I had the flu and when I finally got the strength to log back on the boards were gone! I was heartbroken so I am very happy to have this back as a Christmas present.

I hope everyone has a wonderful holiday season and I am glad we are all back on.

I promise that with all the new "HB.com hired gun moderators" helping with the boards and all of the good folks like you all that hang at Celebrity Hair Talk and that other forums here, this will not happen again.

Sometimes when things get really crazy you have to just take a step back and regroup, plug the holes and dive back into. :-)

I, too, am so glad to have the boards back. A few days after they had been dropped, I removed this site from my favourites list. Just on a whim yesterday, I typed "Hair Boutique" in my search engine, fully expecting to find the boards gone. To my pleasant shock, they were back. It just goes to show that the actions of a few can't keep a good group down! Happy holidays, and welcome back!
