Even in as bad a picture as the one that went with that article, she still looked so much hotter, at least to me, with the short hair. Pushing it to the side a bit for that photo would've been a good idea, though. Maybe if she'd kept it a while and played with it rather than rejecting it right from the start, she might've thought she looked good with it short, too.

I usually prefer women with short hair but in her case I like the long hair on her better than the short style she was wearing before.

I'm glad she didn't her hair. She has really beautiful hair, and it looks good on her. (And no, I'm not just saying that because I have long hair ) She is a very beautiful woman, and the long hair just seems to complete her.
I was a bit shocked to see that pic of her that Gord posted. I don't really care for her with that cut. I'm glad she has grown it back out!

I didn't think Liv had the face for short hair.

Let's see how The Great One, Jerky Flea, felt about Liv with short hair when he wrote his first column for this very web site:

"FLEA'S CALL: Too short for Liv, though she's beautiful no matter what. Sweeping the bangs to the side will help since bangs never looked good on her even with long hair. Here's hoping she shampoos with Miracle Grow."

Wow, you really had me going there, too. Would have been a huge surprise, seeing as her own personal preference seems to be for long hair. She's so gorgeous that she could get away with anything at all, though (that said, I love it long).
Monica: Isn't there any way that you could look at this as flattering? I mean, she's doing this to be more like you.

Kuroneko is right - it's pulled back in a ponytail. I think Liv Tyler's hairstyle always looks nice (whether it's short or long) because she has such a lovely face. But I prefer it long and her long hair looks so beautiful, shiny and healthy. She always looks so happy and peaceful.

Unfortunately, it's just pulled back-- you can see the ponytail or whatever it is in some of the pics. I wish she would cut her hair, as short looked really nice on her in _Cookie's Fortune_, but the way she acted about having to do it, I can tell she's not a short hair fan :-( . Pity!
