It appears though. Since all the pictures on Wireimage show her with long hair. Either she never actually went to short hair, and it's a wig, or she got extensions after the film.
Hard to tell wether it was a wig the whole time or whether she's wearing extensions now. Black hair lends itself so well to extensions and they're so much more common amongst african americans that its difficult to ever tell if its real hair with these celebrities. My wife is asian and she got extensions but her hair is just too fine, they wouldn't stick. Many black friends could have long hair but choose extensions just for the convenience.
Either way I like the short look on her a lot and really wish she would have stuck with it. It just makes her look fresh. Hard to believe that she could see those pictures and not have some temptation to cut it all off in real life.
