A few weeks ago, Katie Couric was sporting the sexiest hairstyle she's ever had. Lots of layers, body, and movement, curled around the ends and in back, and long sideswept bangs that really played up her eyes. Fun, full, and absolutely gorgeous.

Today, she has abandoned that look, and returned to her "standard" look of recent months - straight, flat, darker I think, with her bangs grown out into what I always think of as a ski slope of hair plunging boringly down from her side part.

Wherefore art thou, great Katie hair? What happened?

I did notice yesterday morning, she started the show with her standard look...hanging down, straight, etc.

About halfway through the show, she reappeared with it pulled back and tucked away. She looked really good. It proves she could go short again and look great. Maybe she was getting sick of it? We can only hope!

Yeah.. I've been watching her bangs disappear for weeks now. Was I the only one to notice she stopped tilting her head to one side during her bangs period?

Katie is back from vacation and looked absolutely luscious today. Boring? Hardly. She's no longer perky either. She's downright sexy.

Hey, can't argue with the length, volume or color. She just looked so much better with bangs, IMHO.

NOT PERKY... you must have missed her interview with Micheal Moore. I don't hink I have ever seen she so happy about doing an interview.

I have to agree that Katie looked so lovely today and her hair was gorgeous. The color and the length..Even though she was very cute with the short do...HMM! HMM!

I can put up with the longer hair - though I prefer it shorter, but the growing out of the bangs is a mistake. She is back to holding her head****eyed to keep them out of her face and it also makes her hair unbalanced. I think she looks older also without the bangs.

I like that she has ditched the bangs. I don't look for any changes to Katie's hair until at least after the Olympic games--most likely no major changes for the forseeable future.
