Alyssa Milano - Forget the Pixie

Alyssa Milano became the poster child for pixie short hair, partly because she looked really good in it and because she was on TV every week. Other actresses chopping their locks (e.g. Marley Shelton, Ashley Judd) didn't inspire nearly as many women to cut their hair.

Alyssa grew it out a couple of inches during "Charmed" last season and seems to have grown it longer now.

I hope this is a transitional length and style. Shorter looked great on her and longer looked equally hot. This doesn't.

She only had it very short for a few months. Did she not like it? Or was cutting it just an experiment for a woman who likes to change her look often?

She looks great, and she sure is taking her time in growing it out!

Pooh, the cutest short-haired girls so seldom keep it up for long :-( . On the upside, Alyssa is one to experiment, so there's a chance she might do it again at some point. *keeps up hope* At least she's a pretty girl either way, so it shouldn't be quite as bad a wait.

She had short hair as a pre-teen when she made "Commando." By the time she got "Who's The Boss?" her hair was long. She cut it some time in the early 90's at the tail end of that series. She subsequently grew it long again, only to cut it to her chin during her season on "Melrose" in the late 90's. She grew out her hair and cut is short a third time last year.

Her pattern seems to be grow it below her shoulders and then go short when she's tired of it. I think she's on the long grow out now.

I'm just so dissapointed that she grew her pixie out straight away. It was absolutely awesome. It just made her eyes look fantastic and her neck soooo long. I thought becuase of her tatoo she would keep it short
