How old are you that your mom can tell you what you can and can`t do with your hair? Try getting it layered since mommy won`t let you chop it. also try differnt styles, like wearing your hair up in a bun, or pig tails are cool, barrettes are popular and cute, braids. also try going to a styliest that can do perms on your hair type. The best thing to do is curl small amounts of hair per roller, that way your hair will take better to the curls. If its to thick then it won`t take. If your hair is real thick ask the hair stylist to use thining shears on your hair.You could also just one day get your hair cut your self, once it`s gone theres nothing your mom can do besides punish you but it would be worth it if you can work with your hair.

Hi. Why don`t you just talk to her and see what says about just getting a few inches cut off. How old are you anyway. If she really won`t agree to anything, I would just go to the hairdressers myself and have it cut anyway!! It is up to you how you have your hair. Tell us what you decide. Emily

Do what I did. I had very lnog hair and my mum and dad didn`t want me to have it cut short. When everyone left the house one night, I cut it myself with my mum`s dressmaking scissors. Now my hair is really short and I prefer it this way.
