Gone!!!!!!!

You know if you get over your snobbbyness you may actully like your hair cut. Listen to your self your not upset over the haircut so much as you are worried about what everyone else is going to say. Why don`t you just stare in the mirror and look at how cute you look and not what lenght your hair is and what everyone else is going to think. Its your hair not your freinds, its your looks not your freinds. You must have had a reason for choping your hair, think what it was and that might help you with your feelings. Short hair can be just as sexy as long hair, some times even sexier. How you act also helps, try acting sexy in the mirror and you might actually like the way you look. Since your hair is gone now is the time to try differnt styles, like how many styles Liv Tyler had while growing her pixie out and she looked cute in all those styles. When did you cut your hair and why, and how did you wear it for christmas?

when you wrote this you were in shock, but when you told the stylist to chop your hair you were in your right mind so you deep down wanted a change. short hair can be so sexy even if its worn just down and straight. Droping out of school over a hair style would be the biggest mistake of your life, stay in school and you find your new style may make you more popluar. And if any one stops being your freind over a hair cut then they were never your freind to begin with. Give the short hair a chanceyou may end up liking it. Most girls have long hair all there lives but only have short hair some part of there life because they are affraid to give change a chance. As for styling you can use barretts, bobby pins, you can put chin lenght hair in a pony tail i`ve seen it, just the shorter strands in back don`t stay in the tail, should get the ones that stick out cut off. Try a perm, layers, I`ve seen girls wear pig tails with chin lenght hair. Just remember beauty comes from the inside out, it`s what kind of person you are inside that counts, you could shave your head bald and if your a sweet person people will still like you, but if your mean and hatefull people will think your a weirdo or some thing. Just be postive about your new look and every thing will be ok and your hair grows faster if your not in a hurry for it to grow, because your not thinking about it every day and time will fly. Hey, maybe you made a mistake, but wait a little bit, once you get over the shock you might like it a lot. I had my hair that was blonde and as long as yours cut up to my shoulders by a stylist and she did it without telling me. Then I took the oppurtunity to go for a big change and got a pixie. After about a year and a half, it grew backto my shoulders, and I was gonna let it grow long again, but I went ang d got another pixie. I like it a lot. I was known for having really long hair for a long time. My hair is on the grow again, and it looks great at only about 6 inches long. I like it, and I bet that you will like short hair too and go even shorter maybe.

I am really sorry to hear what happened to you. It always makes me sad when i see or hear about a girl in your situation. I have always found long hair to be so beautiful, and it always seems weird to me that so many girls cut it off for whatever reason, then almost immediately grow it back long.

It is a terrible shame that you now have to go through this experience too, but hopefully you will have learnt from this experience and will not think about getting it chopped again.

Sorry you did that to your hair. A few years back a very dear friend of mine had hair to her mid thighs. I had been trimming it for herfor a long time and she anounced that she was ready to have it cut off short. I asked her to think about it awhile and I trimmed a couple inches off her length and brushed it for her for over an hour. She loves having it brushed and I told her to come back in a few days. Well she did and I brushed it for her and then asked "how much do you really want to lose of all this beautiful hair?" I think you are crazy but here are the scissors, take the first snip. She picked them, held them to her hair and said she couldn`t do it either. Well I have been trimming her for a couple years after that event and she only mentioned cutting it short again a couple times, in terms of thanking me for being a real friend refusing to let her ruin her hair. I`m sorry you didn`t have a friend that was there for you in your time of need. In any case it will take time to grow back, but in time when it is to your waist, you will appreciate it moe and hopefully you`ll find a trusted friend to talk you out of doing it again.

I am so sorry for you. I have made mistakes like that in the past. Did you just break up with your boyfriend or something? Were jealous women telling you to cut your beautiful hair? I agree short hair is boring.

That is the only way to describe what my hair is. Why? I don`t know really, I guess because I thought having short hair like everyone else was better than having beautiful, blonde hair down to my waiste that I have been growing for years and have never recieved anything but compliments on. I mean I wanted it done, stupid me walks into the salon and asks to have my hair chopped into a chin length straight across SHORT cut that I can do nothin with but leave down. I can`t pull it back, I can do basically nothing. It will takeprobobly months to reach my shoulders again, altought all that means is I will look like more people. I was very popular too, and I`m sure this will effect it. Almost no one has even seen it yet and I think I`m gonna drop out of school for a few years. When I saw the hair on the floor it was like I went into shock, and I am still very upset, and probobly will be for a while. Don`t cut your long hair, despite what people on this board tell you, it is not better than long hair, just more ordinarry.
