Please help...have new braid extensions and are very long.... I was told to wash my scalp with head and shoulders...which I did and since then and the cutting of the extra pokies of my hair through the braids....my scalp is so itchy I used penatene cream...cortisone cream.....tinactin spray.....and am taking antihistamines!!!! I feel like a drug store with long hair...LOL Friends have told me to try sea breeze....listarine....omg are they for real....some say you are itchy for 2 days others say 5 - 7 days......I am going insane They have been in 2 days and am ready to remove them even though they look beautiful.....I have abantu synthetic hair braided in ..... also I am a caucasion woman....I do not know if that makes a difference....probably not...please help me anyone asap........PLEAZE I BEG OF YOU HELP.....FEEEEEELS LIKE AN ANTHILL ON MY HEAD.... THANKS SO MUCH .... ITCHY, SCRATCHY BABY DOLL....
damn that does sound bad well i think that ure scalp isn`t used to the sinthetic stuff and even though u say it looks great the best thing to do is take them out well that`s my opinion it doesn`t seem like ure scalp is getting along with the sintheic hair or it could be the braids maybe ure not use to the braids i`m not such an expert but i hope my advice helped!
i agree with baby power- you may be allergic to synthetic hair depending on the quality of it. You should use kanekelon hair- it`s synthetic but of high quality. If its not human or kanekelon then stay away from it!
I`ve heard caucasian women sometimes can`t take the stress on their scalp from the braids being in so tight....fact or fiction I couldn`t tell ya. If you start having headaches, I would have them removed...
