Aha, yes well ive been highlighting my hair for a while now and i decided to splash out and get a more expensive high-lighitng kit (l`oreal perfect blonde to be exact).

However i decided that i would apply it all over my head but not down to the roots (like it said i could do in the instructions). But after leaving it on for around 30mins its gone gingery/coppery blondish. Not blonde :`(

So now im wondering about my choices, luckly its winter and i can get away with wearing a hat lol but i need to sort this cos i cant wear a hat for the rest of the christmas season.

Can i re-bleach it with a full allover blonde product or will that turn it green and worse lol, or would using a dye like the - Live No35 Real Red - product work? it does say it works best on prelightened hair and i guess mine is that lol.

Id appreaciate any help someone in the know could offer (im male btw - and a little in the dark about this sort of stuff :$ )

to get the blonde Color you need to leave the bleach on longer than 30min. Bleaching goes thru stages. (stage1) Black (stage2)brown (stage3)red (stage 4) Orange (stage 5) Gold (stage 6) Yellow (stage 7) Pale yellow. It goes thru all 7 if hair is black. You need to leave it on till it has completely gone thru them all. Most people make the mistake and take it off at stage 3,4 or5, and get results that they dont like. Allways do a strand test. and time it to see how long it takes for hair to get to the desired stage and then use a dye or toner after bleaching . if your hair is orange buy a medium ash blonde dye, that should get rid of some of the brassy redish orange tones.
