I did this too, the ends went bright orange and the roots blonde. Your best bet if you don`t want to pay a hairdresser a fortune is to cover it with a permanent colour a shade darker than the darkest fried bits, ok so you won`t have light blonde hair but I`m guessing you look pretty daft at present and a dark blonde/light brown would be better. Only lighten your hair again when all the dye has grown out and been cut off, only natural coloured hair lightens evenly and if your hair is naturally dark you should get it done professionally. Too strong bleach is what makes it look orange.
i pr-lightend my hair using a boots level3, i did all the nes-tests strand ie, but when i removed the lightner my hair is way way to light and looks rather fryed at the to. i have left it almost a week and have been using sallys hair reconstructor and deep cond but i am now due to return to work and need to get my hair back looking somewhat normal. i had been aming for a light blond but i am now aff to put anything else on any advise much ap please reply asp please
