This is the exact reason I no longer have blonde hair.It is just too much work and a pain, and doesnt even look that great on me anyways. Hair extensions will cause more damage too though.
I'm done with the bleach. My new goal is to grow my hair natural and long.It may not be as "luminous" as blond, but it will be healthier and stronger.

I'm always so nervous/excited when I color my hair that Im constantly standing in front of the mirror, then walking around the house to look at the clock...then I start all over again. but of course, I suppose it would be easier to set a timer! Thanks for the tip!
I hope you aren't using a toner with ammonia in it because then you're bound to get breakage if you keep on refreshing your hair with toner all the time.

or an acidic demi which is truly gentle, and closes the hair cuticle which makes the hair stronger and less porous.
I must say you've got amazing hair anyway.

and even with her 'blooper' she has the most incredible looking hair! Kalika's extensions are the bomb! Right now her hair is the inspiration on the hair extensions board!
See, that's why I sit in a boring, quiet room with no television or music on, and watch the clock. Very boring, but I don't forget the time! Glad you're taking it well, though. And it's true, the white pixie would be sweet, if you wanted to give it a go for a while.
I'm of course sorry to hear your hair burned off, but glad you aren't upset about it. Even if you left the extensions off, white blonde pixies are a cute haircut to have.

well this hair blooper happened earlier tonight actually.
Ive been bleaching and coloring my hair at home for quite a while, and it was never worse then the usuall dryness associated with bleached hair. always been careful not to overlap, etc.
well tonight, I bleached my roots, and decided to try a new, lighter color. Ive had platinum blonde hair for a while, but I wanted white-blonde hair, lighter then platinum.
so after bleaching, I applied the color (color - not toner) and I planned on leaving it on 15 minutes, then washing it out.
well I sat down to watch TV, became engrossed in what was on, and i didnt realize that an hour had passed. I compleatly forgot I had this stuff in my head, till I reached up to scratch my scalp and the plastic cap was in the way.
I bolted ot the bathroom to wash it out, and it came out in clumps. now whats left, the longest strands are about 4 inches, the shortest about an inch and a half.
Im gonna get a good cut tomorrow, and although I know I should be really upset, Im strangly not, because I always wear extensions and they're only out for a short time to bleach the roots.
but, Ive lost a LOT of hair, so just remember everyone...
