Hi,i just wanted to tell u about my experienc with my hair,just a few daysn ago i wanted my wavy/curly hair to be srtraight,blow drying it strait everyday w/out wanting to even look at it,and wehn i dont blowdry it straite i wear it in ponytail so i wont have to deal wiht it messy and frizzy.Anyway to get to the point,i just never accepted my hair the way it was,when all along i looked muhch beter with my hair the way it is naturallw(exept w/out the friz!)i just keep looking at peoples hair and wishing mine cud be like theires,the thing is,i never look at peple or movie stars or whatevers hair that look like mine only at others w/ straite hair.Anyway on friday after a shower i decided to se howe my hair wud look if i tried to make it its best while wavy/curly so wen it was almost dry but still NOT frizzyi started looking at it for a loooong time inthe mirror and realizedI ACTUALLY LIKED IT THAT WAY!!!!it realy looked nice much better than straite,maybe if i lerned to deal w/ it instead of fihgting w/ it it reely wud look nice!i was soo buzy looking at people w/ strait hair and admiring them for it i forgot to look at people w/ hair like mine and think of it nice on me,id just say wow it her hairs nice but it wudnt suit me althu the whole time that was wat was really ni ce on me.Now,i look at pictures and people with curly or wavy hair and think of how it wud look good on me instead of thinking straite looked beter!sorry for the loooong post but im just amazed that in 1 day i managed to love my hair the way it is.now i love my hair and will try my best to work with it and make it beter,now i look at peple w/ curly/wavy hair and think its gorgeous!all i have to deal wwith now is the frizz but im sure if i treat my hair right it will be good to me.Finally im finished i just wanted to tell u about it.sorry if it was boring!
I know how you feel. My hair is naturally curly/wavy, mostly curly, and ever since i was little i`d always try to brush it straight or blowdry it straight but it was always just so frizzy. One day in 8th grade, I`m now in 11th, I decided to see how it`d look naturally so i put some gel in it and when it dried, i was like "Wow! it looks kinda pretty and so much better than a frizzball!" I`ve been wearing it curly ever since and it`s my trademark. Everyone compliments me on it and it sets me apart. The only time it irritates me is on humid rainy days cuz it gets frizzy. One product I recommend to you is L.A.Looks Gel 2 Mousse, it works great! I`ve tried everything and this is the only thing that keeps my hair looking good. And oh before that i put in some Paul Mitchel leave in conditioner because it`s very important to keep curly hair moisturized. See ya!
