I would like some help finding a new look. I have been looking in magazines and on the net but havn`t found the curly look I want. I want something sexy, 24-year-old, just married, professional, fun and urban. I have reservations about going to a salon because I have yet to find someone who has done a good job with my hair. last time I came out looking like I was 12. How can I find the best look for me and where can I get it done?

How long is your hair? Most sexy looks you refer to are not too curly. More of a soft curl or that tossled look you see. What color is your hair and what face shape do you have? Maybe I can help you out. Just let me know.

I have a long thin face. Sholder length hair that is brown. I have added a touch of red with a color and liked it , but now it`s just plain brown. My hair is quite curly. I am not looking to do a straight perm but can soften the curl a bit.

Keep your hair on the long side. Of course, you already probably know that! If the red goes with your complexion, why not stay with it? I would try some long layers(meaning the first layer to start at your chin or just above). The problem is, will the layers make your curls pop up more? Yes! So before you color or do anything else, and if your hair is in pretty good condition, why not try a creme straightener at a salon? Call around to find an experienced stylist. Some salons will be helpful, some will probably catch an attitude. Hairstylists usually do not like their talent questioned but you the consumer have the right to find a good one!
Explain that you do not want your hair perfectly straight, which is probably good because the creme straighteners usually do not straighten naturally curly hair completely.
Good luck.
