Thanks for your support & encouragement! You guys are really sweet :)
Well, I have short hair now... its really wierd. I`m not used to it yet, but I think I like it. Its really short!!!! The back part is only about chin length, and its kinda layered and the front only comes down to the top of my cheeks (it was past my shoulders before). Its does look better, tho. All the fried, sorts-blonde ends are gone and its mostly back to light brown (I`m not dyeing it again!) Now that its short its really curly- it has sort of a halo effect. It was totally nerve-wracking while I was getting it cut but the stylist (Penny)was really nice and listened to my whining and even called another stylist over to hold my hand for a while cuz I was freaking out. Yeah, OK, I even cried a little bit...that`s not so wierd is it? Anyway, I think I like it, and it takes a lot less time to wash & dry altho I`m still trying to figure out how I can style it.
The downside is that my boyfriend hates it (he`s too sweet to say so, but the first thing he said when he saw me was "What the hell did you do to your hair!?!?!?!"), and so does my mom. She keeps telling me I look like a boy :( Oh, well. I guess for the most part its a happy ending. Thanx again for your advice & stuff- you guys rock!

I too have short hair after having long hair for most of my life. My friends love it but my husband does not. I think most parents and spouses can`t handle change, they want you to always look the same. Its their problem not yours. I bet you look fabulous and they secretly think so also! Besides short hair is in and it is sexy and you can always grow it back if you change it.
