I have a major emergency. I have naturally curly (or shall I say frizzy) hair. I had it long, pass my butt. But I recently cut it in layer and pass my shoulders. Boy was that a mistake. I loved it the first day cause he streghtened it. I looked so good. Many did not even recognize me. But fianlly after 3 days, decided to wash it out. I realize tha I had made the worst mistake of my life. My hair is soooo frizzy. I can't stand it now. I just want to cry cause it does not look good. It looks like a mess.

I finally decided to straighten it myself. I do not know how to do it, but I decided to try. I was at it for 30 minutes and nothing. It was just even more frizzier. I must of done something wrong. All I added was Loreal smooth intense anti frizz serum. I was blow drying it by the way.

I realize that the dream of me ever having straight hair is gone. So I am back to my curls. Which looks more like a frizz ball than anything. I just bought that John Frienda Frizz Ease relaxing cream. I haven't tried it at all. I also bought those type of rollers that you could sleep with so you can have curly hair. I am just a mess. I can't straighten or curl my hair. I should just shave it.

Anyways, all I want is advace on how I can straighten and not damage it, for cheap. Or how to get really cute curls. or am I already doing it right by buying those rollers. I am wearing them by the way. Hope it works for tomorrow.

Im sorry to hear that you are having problems with your hair. I was thinking about getting layers myself but alot of people talked me out of it. To get rid of your frizz Paul Mitchell's super skinny serum is THE BEST. I've tryed everything and nothing has ever given me the results I've got from it. Just apply a little to your hair after you get out of the shower and it should look good.

As for straightening it DONT BLOW DRY! If you blow dry your hair its bound to get frizzy. Get a ceramic hair straightener, they have good ones at long for cheap (revlon its white and has gold plates its baout 20 bucks).

You know what looks really cute, is if you get those thick fabric hair bands and put those in you hair while its curly. My friend does that and it looks real cute.
