Hi people,
i have a bunch of friends who are trying to settle a dispute on whether the french twist (professional do) is more appropriate than the simple bun, when in a working service-orientated environment?

i prefer the twist but then i'd like to get some added opinions on the matter.

cheers.

In my humble opinion what is appropriate should be linked to length and type of hair that the French twist or bun will be made into and which looks better. Some hair just look terrible in a French Twist (because of the hair's texture) while a simple knot or random bun can work for others.

Anyway, my 2 cents.

I agree with Babs.

If you are doing the french twist with one of those big clamps, I'd say NO WAY. It can be cute, but not for a work environment.
