Strongly considering getting all of my permed hair cut off to the new growth and getting braids (I`m not brave enough to walk around with the crop cut).
What kind of braids make your hair grow? What kind breaks your hair off? Would a weave be better?
If you want your hair to stay on your head, I`d advice you not to get the really, really tiny braids. They break off your hairline, and they`re a headache to have to take out anyway. I have found that box braids help grow hair fastest, because ther eis minimal breakage when taking them out. Hope this helps- sorry so late.

Yes, I had the same problem now my hair is near my waist in 2 /1/2 years no kidding.
I had it braided, then I took special care of it when taken down, comb it a certain way and ate certain foods. It is thick and long and I have shown other African Americans how to do the same. I am currently posting this info on the web for free, but Iit will be posted in June 2002

What did you do to grow your hair? I have already cut mine in Nov 2000 and worn the short crop. I go through this phase every 2 years because of breakage or a lack of results. I would love to break my cycle of hair cuts and returning to a relaxe. I would not like my daughter to go through this either.

You are really a GOD sent. I`ve tried every thing. But now i`m wearing the braids too. Could you please let on your miracle find. I want to start over again. I was just about to give up.

I had a hair analysis to see what was lacking in my body so that I can get myu hair to grow as long as possible (it grew to the waist!!!)
I ate healthy all natural foods.
I deep condition with LE KAIR Cholesterol once a week under a heating cap for 40-60 minutes all the time, (That got my hair in good condition where it stopped shedding)
and I combeb and brushed my hair using the Grown & Glory Technique.

There may be some nutrients lacking in your body (for years maybe) or you may be combing your hair wrong
Example: as the hair grows, it looks like it`s thinning out towards he ends. You may be combing and brushing it wrong
hi everyone, While following Robyn`s suggestions/regimen, try to incorporate this all natural product called "Earth 2000 Hair Stimlant". It has helped me a lot with hair breakage and damaged hair.
