I wrap and conditon my hair once a week and my hair is shedding like crazy its every where in my house in my car on my clothes I mean every where. The funny thing about it is my hair is still thick and whenever it is freshly wrapped it is as beautiful as healty hair. This has been going on for at least a year and a half. Does anyone have any suggestions.

is your hair shedding or breaking? shedding is when there`s a little white bulb on the end that IS REALLY NOT GOOD! Breaking is when the hair has broken at a weak point that`s the normal part of life cycle! if it is then no need to worry if it is breaking you need to try a protein conditioner. I am a faithful user of Cathy Howse`s "Ultra Black Hair Conditioner" see www.ubhpublications.com

Basically the longer and thicker your hair is, it tends to shed more, it has come to the end of its life cycle. Some people find that they tend to shred more in the Autumn (Fall) and Winter, than in the Spring and Summer. If you live in a warm country, shredding is not so noticable as in a seasonal countries like USA, Northern parts of Europe. Another thing, it also depends on your body, being a female, I am assuming you are a female, you have monthy cycles that also effects the cycle of your hair also, even if you have had your menopause, you hair still goes through this cycles. Spraying your hair with a mixture of Aloe vera gel, distilled water and glycerine, that helps to minimise any breakage, because it reduces any tangles, plus I am not sure if you take any supplements, that will help also, because the level of nutrients in your body will still be constant, even though your body may be going through hormonal changes, or under stress, or change of environment, doing exercise and eating probably lots of vegetables, fruit, protein will help you also.
I hope that has helped you.
