Jazzz, I am in total agreement with MizDivine. It is unfortunate, but you are most definitely misinformed. At least you are willing to admit your lack of knowledge and I hope this helps. I highly encourage you to do some research on your own to heighten your awareness on the different agricultural practices. Yes, it is true the difference is what is used to grow the produce, however, that is the major difference. I try not to be long on these responses but here is one of the main reasons why you might want to at least consider fitting organic produce in to your budget. Organic products are grown and handled according to strict procedures w/out the use of persistent and toxic chemicals. Many EPA approved pesticides were registered long before extensive research linked these chemicals to cancer and other diseases. Not only does the lack of use of these chemicals protect the food we consume, but it also protects our water sources, which are being polluted daily by these toxic chemicals. So, short term it is more costly, however it is worth the long-term investment because consuming more organic foods is beneficial to your health. I do hope this will at least inspire you to do some research and I do say this not to demean you, but to encourage you. That is why it is so important that we read, read, read. Again, I do hope that I was some help.
God bless you Positivity
