I am desperately looking for a hair stylist who can sew in a full weave properly. I live in the Bowie, MD area. My current stylist is professional and gracious. She has NEVER made me wait while she ran errands or ate lunch. When I walk in the door, she is ready for me. However, 2 weeks after paying hundreds of dollar for a weave, the weave starts to unravel. People tell me all the time that they can see my tracks, which is embarrassing beyond words. The thread is visible and the French braids underneath the weave start to unravel after the first shampoo. Please help! If you know of a good weave stylist in the Bowie, MD area, please let me know. Thanks!

Hello New Member , Welcome ,,, Regardless of my name( Xweaveqween) , I'm back and in full force, 20 inches , Anyways , I do my own hair, I paided $273.00 for my first and last weave job, i watched everything ( well not everything because they turn you away from the mirror so you dont see everything ) but regardless i could feel what she was doing and from that day on i have been doing my own hair, same style she did but for only $62.00, $29.99 each for the hair , ( 2 - bags ) plus $1.00 for the neddle and $1.00 for the thread. And keep the change, so i hope you can remmber what she or he did ,, French Braid your hair , and sew the weave (with the tracks) into your frenchbraids, and waula . GOOD LUCK !

I agree with weavequeen. I sew my on weaves in also and save the money. The first two times I did it I did have to sew my tracks down a few times , but that was ok. I would rather they come out because I did it and can sew them back in, Then to pay a arm and a leg to someone and they still come out. Good Luck!!!
