Hi, i need some help with a daily moisturiser. Right now, im using elasta qp recovery oil moisturiser but it has mineral oil listed as the first ingredient and i think it's breaking my hair. Ive tried the mango butter, ors olive oil, carrot oil, BB oil moisturiser, everything!!! I need sth that's lightweight and wont weigh my hair down. Suggestions anyone???

Right now I'm using a blend of sweet almond oil and jojoba, with a couple of drops of carrot essential oil and some fragrance oil. Very light, I can apply a fair amount without any greasiness.

I guess you could, though I've never used castor oil.
When you buy your oils online, you end up with large enough quantities that you can experiment and see what works for you. If I find I put too much of something in, I can just dilute it some more til I get it as I want it to be.
Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?

Shea butter is good but I use Organics Kids Shea Butter Detangling Moisturizing Hair Lotion (Ridiculously long name!!) It works extremely well and it keeps my hair well moisturized. It's very light too. My mom has 3a/b hair that is very brittle and it works like a charm. (It smells great too!
