What kind of conditioner do you use when you deep condition and how long do you leave it on? with or w/out heat?

I use either Organics Hair Mayo because it stops breakage and makes my hair unbelievably soft or Neutrogena's Deep Recovery Hair Mask which also makes my hair extremely soft. I leave both on for about 30 minutes or longer. I don't use heat with either. Sometimes I'll use one before I wash and one after.

Deep conditioners should ALWAYS be used with heat. Apply the conditioner, cover hair with a plastic cap, and sit under a hood dryer for 15-20 minutes. You can also sleep in deep conditioner overnight, but I find that my hair doesn't get that "ohmyGAWD" slippery, silky softness without heat.

My favorites are Phytospecific Vital Force Creme Bath, Salerm Wheat Germ Oil Mask, Kan Kanechomn Jaborandi Deep Conditioning Cream, and Queen Helene Cholesterol Cream.

For some reason using it with heat doesn't do much for my hair unless I add oil. I usually put a plastic cap on with a towel wrapped around and lounge around the house for about half an hour.

I deep condition with two parts john frieda moisturizer and one part extra virgin olive oil, and i try to use my hooded dryer with it each time (usually 20-30 minutes...but only on the medium or low setting which is enough)...

i deep condition once a week, at the v. least once in two weeks, and it works for my hair.  i prefer using the hood because it seems my hair retains its softness longer when i use it, and the conditioner actually penetrates the hair shaft.

I use Mane n Tail Deep Moisturizing conditioner and Africa's Best Hair Mayo. I leave each in for 20 minutes and they make my hair incredibly soft. The mayo is great for stopping breakage. I dont use heat when i condition but instead I just put a plastic cap on my head and cover up with a towel.

A big staple for me now too is Neutrogena Deep Recovery Mask. A great product, hands down!! Anyone who hasn't tried it should give it a shot at least once!!!

I use Humectress or CON Nurishing With heat for about 30-45 minutes. Then more often then not end up leaving it on for hours.

Motions Moisture Plus with Wonder 8 hot oil treatment & sit under dryer for 30. I also let the conditioner & hot oil remain on my hair for an extra 30-45 minutes more.
