What is Salerm and how do you use it? I've heard sooo many people rave about this stuff but I have no clue what it is.

It's a leave in. When my hair is sooo ready for a touch up, this is the only thing that works for me. It has great slip.

Hi Renee (or Anyone else who may be familiar),

I saw a tube of this product called Salerm Vitale at the beauty supply store that looks like a hot oil treatment but there are no directions or even a description.  Would you know anything about this product or which hot oil treatment or a leave in that they make that works best in your opinion?

Thanks

Honeydoo

Salerm 21 is a leave-in treatment made in Spain (although it often gets lumped in with Dominican products).  According to the bottle:

"Salerm 21 has been scientifically developed to add gloss and life to damaged, treated, porous or dry hair.  It also protects hair from harmful elements such as sunlight, heat, chlorine, saltwater, etc.  The silk proteins in Salerm 21 repair hair deeply because, dueto their small size, reach the core.  Provitamin B5 adds sheen to hair, making it look healthy and natural looking."

I started using Salerm 21 based on recommendation on other hair forum boards and I have never regreted the decision.  Also, many of the flat irons recommend the use of products containing silk to help protect hair from heat damage.  HTH

"And this too shall pass."

you can order it online at www.sickay.biz  also on Ebay.  I know they don't carry it in the stores in my area so I have to get my Salerm online

I can't say enough about how pleased I was with Salerm Vitale. I used it as a hot oil treatment.  Unfortunately, I can't find it anywhere.  When I tried it several weeks ago, I found it in a beauty supply store but they no longer carry it.  I had purchased their last tube.
