Passin Thru,
I do the baggie method about 3-4 times a week, when I remember to. I just cover my bun with a baggie, not my whole head and I wrap my satin scarf around it at night. I take it off in the morning.

^^^^^

How often do you do the baggie method? And do you have to sleep in a plastic bag, or can you just wrap your hair in a scarf?

Hey Browneyez2! I tell everyone to try the baggie method. It's when you saturate your ends in your favorite moisturizer and or oil (my pick is Carrot creme and oil), put your hair into a bun and apply a little plastic baggie over it while you sleep or underneath a phony pony if you wear one. It will keep the moisture in and help your ends stay nice and healthy.

You might try pure shea butter and / or carrot oil. I use the Shea Butter and carrot oil every other day or so.

I'm going to try those to see if they help. Nothing else has so far

Nexxus Assure Shampoo and Ensure conditioner. As you may know Nexxus is an excellent product line, but it is only found in top scale salons, some beauty suply stores and online. Go to the website and check it out. www.nexxus.com

Hey,
I'm new to the boards here, but have been viewing them frequently. I've picked up lots of great hair care tips. However, I have a question regarding healthy ends! My hair is currently a little past shoulder length and the overall condition is good, but my ends always appear dry. Besides trimming brittle/damaged ends (which I do), is there any type of product anyone can suggest to "tame" or protect ends?
Any and all suggestions welcome!
