use hot water. It still makes me laugh that some of these niggas be putting a towel in the microwave. the purpose of the hot towel is to dampen/soften your hair so that the pomade will spread easily throughout your hair. If you are using a thick pomade I recommend using a hot towel before and after you apply the pomade and then start brushing.

Wat is the Hot towel used for? and how and when should it be used? i kno sumone said to put it in the microwave or sumthin...or should i jus wet it with hot hot water from the sink and ring it out?
