Unlike some people, I WANT to gain weight (I'm skinny, weighing about 140-145 pounds though I'm about 5' 11'' - 6'). So the other day, I started a modest diet for weight gaining. Now I can't hole myself up at home and eat nothing but Coke and donuts all day, but what I did do is start eating cooked white rice and "houskovy knedliky" (tasty bread dumplings, a local specialty here in the Czech Republic), every day if possible. Will this work at all? Anything else that anyone could recommend?
try lots of peanut butter...it's high in fat but it's a healthy way to gain weight. just try to take in more healthy calories than you can burn. in other words, eat a bunch of healthy food instead of eating some junk food.

Find out your BMR (pretty much your weight X 12 which is how many calories your body needs a day at rest) and double the calories it says!! :-)
