My friend had a breast reduction surgery and she loves the results. However, she was laid up for about 10 days and had a lot of pain. I would love to check this out but am nervous about the potential side effects like pain and scarring and etc. Anyone here have tips or suggestions? Thanks.

talk to a good dr. about your concerns. not every person is the same. yes any surgery you are going to have some pain. i did the opposite. i had them inlarged. i heard it was so painful. yes i had some pain for a little while but not the awful stories i heard.

Hi guy''s; I had two friends that had breast reduction surgery. Both are really glad they did it. And both are in thier late 30's, I think the fact that the are both a little older they really knew what they wanted.

One was having back problems....I'm not sure but she was checking into weather insurance would cover part of her costs..??

some insurance does pay for it. my grandma has a bad back and her dr. said her insurance could pay for it because it just not cosmetic. if your breasts are causing back problems insurance may pay it. my grandma never did though. she's 80 now. she figures with her age she doesn't want to go through all that.

My breasts have always been too big in comparison to the rest of me. Some women think that is great cause guys will like it but it has it's drawbacks, especially back pain. Mine are just too large. I have a husband anyway, I don't need to go out looking for a guy and flaunting my bod.
I am into my 30s now, I feel now is maybe the time to get it done.
Has anyone here had breast reduction surgery? I need to do some research on the topic but I'm curious to know other women's experience with the procedure. It they felt it was worth it and did it really improve any back problems they may have had. Also; how do they like the look of average sized breasts on themselves and how does their man like it.

Sharon Osbourne had a breast reduction and she recently talked about to the press. She said the scarring was minimal and the pain manageable. She said she absolutely loves it. I remember that Roseanne Barr also had a breast reduction when she was doing Roseanne and she said on several talk shows that she felt so much better.

I certainly agree that you should take your time to get all the answers so you feel OK about it.

My grandmother had this surgery in her 60's and said it was the best thing she ever did for herself and wished she could have done it earlier. She was suprised how little pain was involved although she said it was a little bloody(there was drainage to deal with post op). I have seen the scars and was amazed at how little there were.

I have large breats for my size but they aren't so large I would do breast reduction. I would rather not do have that done.

I know men love women with large breasts, my man likes my large breasts. But he would love me with average size breasts as well. That I know. He loves me, not just my large breasts.

If a woman has breasts too large for her size (I'm relatively petite with large breasts), she can develop back pains from her breasts being too big for her size later in her life.

I haven't had back aches yet, but I'm only 33 years old. That's why I am considering it, not to have small breasts, my breasts will still be slightly larger than average, but not as large as they are now.
It is a health issue.

Of course you love them. You don't have to walk around with them. it's like someone's else kid. Real cute, but you don't have to take them home.
Make every day you have count, before the time comes for you to count every day you have.

LOL!
You said it SuperSugar!

Well I just believe that having breasts that are TOO BIG, is a problem.
Just a little larger than average is fine.
