well im not sure if its damaged, but when i take a shower, afterwards, for like 10 mins after the shower my hair is perfect, very soft, smooth and easy to handle, a little frizzy but okay, but overall nice. **When my hair dries, it becomes course, puffy, and overall looks damaged, I constantly have to add water to my hair to keep it soft and straight.

Are there any hair gels or shampoos that can help? is my hair lacking some sort of nutrient?

Any help is appreciated

Just want to say I need advice on the same problem! My hair is exactly the same way, It's not curly but yet it is always Frizzy, I hate it. It seems no matter what I do, nothing works. I got it cut yesterday and she used Aveda Hang Straight and even with that by the end of the night my hair was frizzy again.

Try starting with a shampoo and conditioner designed for a sleek look. I have curly/frizzy hair and started using L'Oreal Smooth Intense and it really helps keep my hair smooth; it's made quite a difference since i've used it. Always use something moisturizing and never use products with alcohol.

Matrix also makes a line of products to help smooth the cuticle. Starting from Shampoo and conditioner to gels and pomades. Aveda makes some great products and has either a gel or pomade to de-frizz the hair. Ever tried KMS flat out? haven't used it myself but have heard some good things about it. i Personally like the Frizz Ease Smoothing cream. They make a regular formula and one for coarse hair.

You may have to use more than one product on your hair, for ex: a cream and gel or gel and wax to get the result you want.
CO wash only since September '04! Dyed red botticelli curls (3b), fine and just past shoulder length
