I had my hair cut to a chin length with some layers because i had some damage from bleaching. i would say it is in pretty good condition, although i color it still, i have been using a semi permanent. my problem is that i am so sick of all the blow drying that i have to do to get the layers to look decent. i have tried letting it dry naturally, but it just seems sloppy. if i can't get it to naturally wave and look ok, i was considering straightening it. but would my layers look stupid if i straightened my hair, and would it be REALLY bad if i did the chemicals in my hair, since i color it.

It probably would be kind of hard on your hair at this point if you tried to straighten it. Perhaps you should try transitioning into a hair style that is closer to your own natural hair, which will require less chemical processing and heat styling.

Just looking for a few good hair slaves - is that too much to ask?

my hairstylist has told me I have a slight wave, but when i try to bring it out, it gets frizzy, and doesn't wave evenly. Ideally, i would like to have a natural style with very minimal effort, but i think my hair has a mind of its own. are there certain products or maybe techniquest that would help to make my hair more manageable?
