Hey there ceceney -- Welcome glad to have you on board.
Nice cut. Smile To really be able to make good recommendations, I think we need to know your hair goals (do you want to grow long or rock a short style] and whether you think your hair is currently healthy or if you have damaged areas. It looks pretty healthy from the pic. How often do you wash your hair, style it, etc.?
But I think good general recs are to: Wash with a good moisturizing shampoo and conditioner -- right now I am using loreal vive smooth intense line and I just recently tried [thanks to so many recs] Creme of Nature Ultra Moisturizing Shampoo (very good). HTH

I agree with the above post. Also, what products or types of products are u using now? How often do you use heat and other techniques that may or may not be healthy for your hair.
Ceceney, what products do you use in your hair now? What are your goals? Do you like short hair or would you like it longer?? Let us know, we'll be glad to help you out!
thanks guys. i was trying to grow my hair out but was
uneven, damaged from straightening it and really dry. i like
short hair, but its annoying sometimes and i've only had it for 3 days.
i would like to try to go long again, but when my hair grows it would
break off. that is another reason why i cut it. i try to wash my hair maybe 2x a week. i try to curl it out
sometimes cause it goes flat at night, but it will go crazy. right now
i am using tressame mourstrizing conditioner and shampoo
and leave in conditioner. i am now starting to use a curling iron in
the mornings, but i want to stop that. the only thing i do with my hair
is flip it out or after washing it leave it straight. thank you guys so
much.

Have you tried airdrying your hair? U can also dry on a cool setting, its like air drying but it takes less time. Also, do u use moisturizers? Make sure to keep your ends moist, that is the oldest part of your hair. I would suggest a rollerset, instead of using a culring iron every morning. Or I would curl my hair one morning of the week and then use rollers the rest of the week...try soft rollers, so your head wont hurt while u sleep.
To keep the hair moisturized you might want to try conditioner washes, atleast one of the days that u do wash. Shampoo can sometimes be drying. U just use the conditioner as if u are shampooing and make sure to saturate the ends. Also, make sure to drink your daily water intake.
Also, I would focus more on the health of the hair, and then worry about the evenness later. Remember your hairs health starts from the inside, u maintain it from the outside.
You might want to take a look at what u eat. I hope this helps
I agree with Cmesweet. ALso remember to do a reconstructive or protein conditioner every 2 weeks or so. Follow it a moisturizing conditioner. Your hair may not be getting enough protein. Your hair may need alot of moisture too. Up your water intake and use a good moisturizer. Rollersetting is good too although I have yet to master it myself.
