Hey everyone,

It looks like you're more interested in pursuing the heat clamp than the Sensual hair, but I just wanted to point out that there was a very bad review of the Sensual hair the other day by Kristininc; I'd never heard of it before when she mentioned it and didn't make the connection until I just read your thread. Here's the link: http://talk.hairboutique.com/forum/forum_posts.asp?TID=28669

:)

Hee Hee Jenny~ I responded on the other thread then edited
as I realized you mean't to put it on this thread!!

I totally missed that thread about the hair from sensual being
bad!! Good to know!! Thanks....

I am only interested in sensual's iron, but we are in a battle right
now. The lady has now doubled the shipping and I am not
happy with that. She now said, she will sell the last 8 USA irons
still for $50 each but now she wants $98 for shipping for 8
irons. The original price was $50 shipping for 10 irons.

So girl's......l will post her response. I asked that she honor her
original quote of $50, especially now as she only has 8 irons
left to sell.

Oooh - I'd like to do that. I've been hankering after a Doc Locks heat
wand for ages, but couldn't justify spending £50+ on one. I'm not
going to have any cash until April 11th though (can anyone spot the
skint student eagerly awaiting her next loan installment to be paid?),
so if everyone else wants to order before then, just ignore me and I'll
save up.

BTW, a couple of you might know me as "unoriginal_username" on
Quinn's board, but possibly not because - whilst I read almost
everything there (and here) - I'm a bit of a quiet soul, really.

Twice as much money for two fewer irons/clamps/whatever.  That's silly.  But if we can split the shipping, money transfer, and whatever other fees eight ways, it's still a good deal.

Edited to say: Eeek!  I'm confused because we have two different threads about companies selling heat clamps if it's possible to organize a group order.  I can't keep all these things straight!

I had asked her to give me a total bill for 10 irons with all the
shipping in writing. Then she e-mailed me this......

Yes we have the US type of clamp you are
looking for. We accept payment via TT/ Wire Service only. The
shipment will take the latest a week. We currently have only 8
pcs left but I will only charge you at USD$50 each.

No, I don know anything about the foreign customs practise. I
am sorry.

Thanks
Irene

This is what she sent me........

DESCRIPTION     ......USD

1 Heat Clamp 110V....... $50.00....(8)..... $400.00

Subtotal....................$ 400.00

Freight Charges (2.6Kg inclusive of box).... $98.00
EMS Courier

Total........................$498.00

I then responded that she original said $50, for shipping. She
replied with the following…..

But because shipment is calculated by weigh, I
also cant help it.
We are selling the iron at USD50 each. Its already very cheap.
We cannot absorb the freight cost too.
We have absorb the wire charges for you.

Thanks

Sorry for the misunderstanding
Irene

This was her original e-mail………it clearly states $50 shipping
for 10 irons!!

Attached is the picture of our iron. Yes, I will
still give you the
price of USD$50 per iron if you buy only 10. However, you will
have to bear the freight charge. The shipping cost will be
USD$50.00

Thanks
Irene

So, this is where we stand with Sensual at the moment.

Originally it was going to be $5 shipping each for 10 irons. It
would now be $12.25 shipping each for 8 irons.

This would now make the irons approx $70.59 - $74.19

Lets see what Qianfine can do for us…….posted on Leia’s
thread

Will keep you guys posted………also check Leias thread for
updates!! Thanks.
