I bought some hair extensions from ebay got them today!
Since all my hair fell out because i dyed it with bleach how is this going to look when i put the entensions in? I am buying shrinkies soon im just wondering because my hair is about 4 inch ( top of head ) is noticeable?
And since my hair is two diffrent colors how would i put them in top is blonde and underneith is brown ...
could ya notice it if i put the shrinkies nearer the root top of my head or is this a bad idear? plz help xxx
Hmm...it's hard to say. One of the members here, Kalika, had pretty
short hair and did shrinkies pretty much all the way to her part with
great success. I don't think you can go that high up without some
visibility, though. If you have thick hair, you may be able to go about
1 inch from the part and still be able to conceal them most of the
time; it'll be harder with thin hair. The problem with not going high
enough is that you can wind up with a mullet, but you'll probably be
able to get a sense of where to stop as you actually install it. I
would install the colors to match your real hair, if that's what you
ordered. Good luck! :)

Yeah if you're brown underneath and blond on top then just install that
way. Will the hair ocor look entirely natural? No, but the
bleach blond that didn't quite work out wouldn't have been either.
For the top to avoid the mullet look I reccomend using the method Fina
recently taught me. Make some very tiny tips (both in diamter and
length of the tipped area) and cut the shrinkie in half and you
can place these closer to parts, in thinner areas and closer to your
hair line.

I have very short hair, and also use cut shrinkies, plus usually wear a headband, so my bangs are pulled back over the top - unless someone is really looking, it is hard to tell. Curly hair also helps hide the shrinkies.
