Being a never satisfied maniac, I just ordered more WaWa from Carol at Vixen Wigs. In my order, I mentioned the board and how there's a lot of interest in the ligher browns and blondes in WaWa, and this is what she wrote back today:
Quote Hi again Holly,
I will be expanding my WaWa hair line. I have some new products that I will be offering starting tomorrow. Keep an eye out for them. You will be pleasantly surprised. I have been working on the pictures and the listings and they will go LIVE tomorrow. I am sooo excited. I really appreciate your kind words as well as your business.
Sincerely,
Carol
Vixen Wigs

WOOHOO!

Party!

I was just looking at her stuff.  How does one of the 14" tracks compare total hair wise with a bundle from PH?

Oh, a PH bundle is a whole lotta hair! PH is about 40" long and 100 gms (3.5 oz), so if you cut it in half, you've got a whole bunch of hair. I don't know how much a weft of 14' WaWa weighs, but it seems as if you get more hair from a bag of PH. It also depends what you want: WaWa is thermo, PH isn't. WaWa has way fewer available colors than PH. I can't decide exactly what to do, so I have both.

Hehe...I'm just waiting to see us all online, bidding like lunatics and fighting to the death for the light browns and blondes, LOL!

Thanks for the update, Syren!

This is AWESOME news. . .

after some trial & error. . . I gotta say. . .I am getting addicted to the thermal synth!!  I will always to PH in the back -- there's nothing like it for the length and if you don't have to do a lot --

but in the front - I have a combo of human, WaWa, and Ebonyonline thermal. I actually like the 2 thermals in the front *better* than the human.

Oh and BTW (sorry this is slightly o/t) Jenny: YES as Sherrie has said, the ebonyonline *does* curl/respond more with time. It's really strange. i am LOVING it though!!  Will post more pics when the updates are complete...

It was more for knowing how much wawa I would need to order compared with PH.  Iknow how much PH it takes to do my head.  But i was thinking about maybe getting two #4, one #2, and one 1B.  But I was trying to figure out if I would need half that much or twice that much for one head of hair.  I know people typically say 2 wefts for a full head but....

Yeah y'all are gonna be funny fighting for lighter colors.  And I'll just sit back and be happy to be a brunette

The 22" bulk WaWa is a full 4 oz bundle of silky deliciousness. I would imagine the wefts are the same weight?

I have made gobs and gobs of tips out of about 3 packs and have them at the ready in my hair bank. I swear, this stuff is awesome. I curled it on Monday and even after three washes, it has the best wave to it. I haven't even had to do anything but brush it.

Carol wrote to me the other day distraught that she ran out of the 27/613 in bulk. keep checking back, she said!

Hope she keeps her prices low.

Cool.  Freak that I am I have something like 3-4 bundles of PH cut into three lengths each on my haed right now.  I just got my sample of wawa from miss Syren today and its on my flocked rollers right now so I can add it to the mix.  I hope Carol doesn't follow the 'al' rule and since I have discovered the goodness of this lovely stuff she will now promptly triple her prices.

Could always try to stock up...

You know, it's not like it's human hair and there's some secret stash...it's synthetic! It would not be in ANYONE'S best interest to raise prices. There are two other sites we know of (Hair Sisters, Bella Beauty Supply) that carry WaWa as well, so prices go up one place, we ALLL bail out and take our business elsewhere. And that would hurt anyone's sales if the lot of us just stopped buying.

Good point.  Having not actually bought any yet I didn't realise we knew of two alternate sources.

My husband was so impressed with the HSF.  'It feelslike real hair.  It doesn't really look like your hair, but it feels like real hair.'

I'm off to investigate Hair Sisters and Bella Beauty Supply...

Hair Sisters:

Bella BS:

Vixenwigs is still the best price and lightning fast shipping, but it's good to have these places in your bookmarks. Bella also carries HSF, which I am DIGGING, btw!!

Does Vixenwigs put up like three a week in each color that are 7.99 and then keep a stockpile at 9.99?

Yeah I was looking at the HSF but I get nervous about the texture being yaki.  I mean clearly the wawa that is classified yaki is really silky.  And if I were a redhead I would haave someone I could dump the french refined on if I couldn't get the curl out of it...

I should remember that I have ~4 packs of PH left in my natural colors and maybe 15 in noones natural color that I should really put onmy head before getting too excited about a new product.  Oh and enough supplies for falls that if I would just make them I could have different hair every day of the week for a month....

This is the most addictive habit.  It's worse than my makeup problem.  At least people expect you to change that everyday.

That's funny you mention it Mocha...I used to have drawers full of cosmetics...I couldn't walk down the make-up aisle without buying something.  Now I have every kind of glue, shrinkie, linky, ring, wand, hair thingy imagineable.  God forbid I run out of something so I double order.

Every new idea I read on here I just have to try...and there's a lot of them!  Some people knit...some sew...and some stick in hair
