Hey sherrie it seems to me that you use liquid gold glue and do the sandwhich technique, i was just curious about how you wash your hair with the glue in it? does it take some time to dry? and also i was wondering about the steps you take or technique you use to take out the wefts? I just did my hair for the first time today with LG glue and its terriffic i LOVE it but im scarred that it will take some time to come out , so i was just wondering how you do yours? ALSO lol i was just wonderign is it bad if i glued the wefts a little further down the roots not exactly close to it?

hi blondie! Right now I am using pre-bonded fusion but I wore glued in wefts for years and still switch back now and then. I wash my hair, blowdry and curl on a daily basis. Of couse I try not to get the shampoo and conditioner right on the bonds but I still get some on them. I scrub the top of my head like normal but just kinda squeeze the shampoo through the lengths, I dont rub it in. And I condition the crap out of the length and try not to get it too close to my roots. I rarely ever let it airdry, human hair just takes too long to dry for me! I blowdry everyday!

I really think its best to glue the wefts right close to the root for two reasons, I think the further away from the root the more stress that you put on your own hair, and the fact that you will need to redo sooner due to growth if you start with them further away initially.

Removal is easier the longer the LG bonds are in. If Ive left mine go 5 weeks or so, they come out pretty easily with some acetone ( alot of people are very hesitant about using acetone, with good reason) You can also use almost any type of oil (baby oil, veggie oil, mineral oil) or LG remover which is mineral oil. If you take the LG bonds out sooner before the glue actually begins to breakdown on its own, its tedious and takes alot of time and patience! And the best approach to removing them when the bond is still strong is oil....let it soak, really scrub the oil into the glue with your fingernails and wait for the LG to loosen. Ive spent 3/4 hours letting the oil soak before. And then you very carefully work out the glue residue either with your fingers or a fine tooth comb. I prefer my fingers because I think Im gentler with my fingers than a comb!

ye thanks sherrie, i have read the sandwiching technique but iv always been too scared of using too much glue. so iv jsut used a dab here and there but then thinking about it it prob causes more stress jsut glueing the ends cos then its a small area holding a whole weft right?!

uv not experience any damage with it i take it sherrie. i think when using lg the key is to be patient with removal

thnx
