question about shrinkies!

Hello everyone...first off I put in my extendtubes like almost 3 weeks ago..and i am ready to tighten them or something...BUT my hair is so thin at the top...and my tubes are seriously like 3 inches from my part and you can still see them..i try to tease my hair but it doesnt work..so i figured i would give shrinkies are try to see if they were any different because the blonde tubes are so noticeable....But i am wondering if just till i see if i like them before i purchase a purging tool if i can use my Chi straightener till i decide to make the investiment in it...I read a while ago but couldnt find the post about using it and if it worked....ANything else i should know before i purchase them?? Thanks ladies...i will post my pictures of my hair and how u can see them when i get home...

Its doable with a flat iron.  The results aren't as consistent but not awful.

IS the biggest problem with the extnetubes showing that non color match?  If so shrinkies are likely to show less. 

The higher you go the smaller you want to make your strands and start considering cutting the shrinkies in half for better coverage.
