Good WaWa News!

not to get off topic here or anything but i kinda noticed that the wawa hair is a little bit lighter and thinner than the ph, like the differnce between someone with fine hair and someone with a bit of thickness for example, am i just crazy or do you guys notice that too?

Per the texture, I think therm in general may be a bit thinner and silkier than monofiber. Somebody on Quinn's noted this a while back regarding the AD therm they'd purchased.

Another thing to note on HSF AND Adore:

You *can* Fry the ends!!!  OK, not like that's anybody's goal. . .and honestly I"m not sure how it happened. I can't keep my hands out of my hair -- not sure what I'm feeling for -- but now that I"ve been doing the PH replacements around the front, I feel for those nasty fried ends. Well. . .hmmm. . .I found some in the hair I JUST INSTALLED, which is HSF!! 

It's very strange. They have that telltale, frizzed out, really wirey feel that makes you just want to CUT THEM OFF. And this is in hair I put in less than a week ago. Blow dryer with brush? I haven't used a curling iron, so. . .the experimentation continues!!  I mean this is the stuff that I held that 360 degree Doc wand on for like a MINUTE to see if it would melt, and NADA. So, sumpin else is up.

What i meant is the French refined remains poofy - it doesn't go straight - after you get it wet. It DOES lose any curl you may have put in.

OH MAN!! So THAT'S why I'm obsessing about thermo!! It's finer in texture than monofiber - yes, I agree with that. My own hair is really fine, so I must be looking for something close to my own. That makes sense.   

Yes, Jenny Ive thought that all along. The ebonyline thermal is slightly more yaki than the other thermals that Ive seen. Not much but slightly. Still not a 'real yaki' texture though you can feel it a little.

Yeah its a different feel. I cant quite find the words I want to describe it. To look at an individual strand I see the same things you are saying. But to look at a full bundle it is very human hair looking. Kinda strange...huh!

Nah, the WaWa doesn't appear to have those nylon-y ridges. But at the same time, I wouldn't say the WaWa feels all that silky either--it feels somewhat similar to the ebonyline, but not quite as coarse. The Freetress feels very thin, silky, and smooth, and it's significantly higher-shine than WaWa and HSF. The HSF refined is sort of a strange texture; it's very thin and it looks more kinky than wavy to me, if that makes any sense. Of the three, the WaWa looks best on sight, imo. I only have some straight samples of the WaWa right now, but I ordered the wavy and should be getting that soon. :)
