Honeydoo,

I'm doing a daily cond washing challenge, for the month of april. So I don't usually style my hair The bun works for me, I don't mind that it stays damp either. Maybe you should try tying a satin scarf not tight, but a little tight over the front part of your head while it dryes to keep it flat and smooth. I also find that putting shealoe on that area makes it dry soft and shiny.

Usually though If I feel like it, and know I wont be washing for 2-3 days I will flat iron it w/ a lil jojoba oil in it. or put it in a few cornrows, or just frenchbraid it and leave it that way untill i have som place important to go.

Wow, I wish I could dry mine loose or in a bun, but it doesn't work. My hair is so thick, it doesn't lay well while drying. I get the most control with braids. I couldn't even begin to wrap my wet hair!! How do you guys style it once it is dry?? Do you use heat or leave it??

I usually braid and air dry... but recently i started to  put on a Cotton Bandanna  for about 5 minutes to soak up the excess water. Then braid and air dry the rest, That seems to be working and doesn't leave any frizz.

I air dry either in a ponytail or I wrap my hair and put my scarf on.  If i'm in a hurry I wrap my hair and sit under the dry I also dry unser a hooded dryer when I go to the salon- but that's not that often.

I like 2 let my hair air dry. After I moisterize it I usually put it back using hair pins and let it hang loose. It works 4 me!

Hi Cebnn, sorry I forgot to put that as an option. I was w ondering how do you do your bun and what kind of band do you use? I've tried to put my hair in a bun to dry and it breaks off. I was thinking I'm using the wrong sort of band or maybe my hair just doesn't do well with it.

I checked airdry braid, but I dont really braid it I put it in a bun. That was the closest option. I dont use a blow dryer any more. If I need my hair to dry quickly I put it in my bun w. shealoe, and jojoba and some type of oil moisturizer and use the hooded dryer. I've only had my dryer a few weeks and I am loving it

I was wondering if you all could write your responses for your choice. I usually air dry braided and it works just ok for my hair. I wanted to know if there is a healthier alternative that yields good results. Thanks!!
