This is my coworker. We put the hair in last night at work. Like an idiot, I failed to get a before pic as we saw a prime moment to jump in and start doing this between call activity.

This is WaWa 27/613 in the long bodywave. The lowest row is 2" above the nape so there's nothing but natural hair showing when the hair is worn up. We've got about 20-30 more strands to go to fill in the sides along the bottom in the next few days because we ran out of time. It's not completely done but you get the idea. Master color blend,, I think.

Amm, what a beautiful job you did - A MASTERPIECE!!!!!.  You also did a fantastic job with the blending and it looks so natural.  You do have a calling Amm - Maybe you should quit your day job.

fabulous.  How long and how curly is her natural hair?
I con't believe you didn't blend multiple co.ors to get it to match that well.

Amazing job, AMM. The color match is incredible, and it looks totally natural--you'd never know.

Did you use shrinkies or extendtubes? I'm assuming she has a fair amount of hair to begin with, so you don't need to add all that much to it. How much WaWa will you end up using for her whole head--1 or 2 packs?

Again, it's beautiful! :)

wow...i am so totally envious.

i'm thinking i might try wawa next time i install....i have doc's Premium Remi in and after washing it yesterday, it was REALLY PIECEY....i mean you could tell where every tip was...and i hate to really brush through it b/c that'll promote shedding.

will her curl remain like that after washing or will it relax out? i've been trying to follow the synth thread, but there's so many different synths.
has someone been swimming in the shallow end of the gene pool again?

OHmygod..gorgeous! She must be thrilled to death! What amazes me is the styling...did you trim it before you installed it or after? And if it was before, how do you do that - how do you know what length to make each row? It looks totally amazing.

And yeah, how long is her real hair, how much WaWa did you use, and did you use your new shrinkies? And did you do the pretipping and are they LG pretips?

I AM LOVING that 27/613 bodywave . . . been installing it in sections until I get my new PH put in. I am on NINE WEEKS with this PH install and some sections are, well, um trashed.

I have put in:

Glamour Hair French Wave 18/22 -- and I've taken most of it out
Hot Stuff Fusion 27/613
EbonyOnline Adore 613 (nearly the same as HSF)
WaWa 27
VixenWigs 27/613 WaWa wave (from the weft)

I just spent a week in China (read; hot, HUMID) where I blew out my hot rollers (read: put them in a 220v plug with only a plug converter, not an electrical converter, duh) the first day so I was left to deal with just a blow dryer and my extensions. ALL of the hair except the human hair fared BEAUTIFULLY with very little work. I'm all over this 27/613 body wave. . .and I'm NEVER putting in human hair again!!

AMM - great work!! - Fina

The curl in my 28mm PH is GONE and I can revive *just enough* wave to have it match the new WaWa 27/613.

The top line is where I started the rows and the bottom line shows the end of her hair and where the WaWa adds the length. There's just under a bag in there as her hair is fine but poofy. We'll be adding the rest next week so there will be a full 4 oz in there when we're done. I desperately want to fill in the bottom because I hate that long tail sticking out by itself. There's just not enough hours in the day, yanno? Yes, the new shrinkies were used and I'm very pleased with how they respond. The tips were made with latex only. There is no other glue on the tips cuz I want to again see how the shrinkies do alone with no other glue assistance other than the adhesive inside. So far she loves it and she's never worn any type of hair extension ever.

FYI, the bodywave WaWa's weft sucks, I think. I don't know if I would ever make clips or try to do a weave with them. The hair just comes out in handfuls (at least the 2 wefts I've worked with so far.) Love the ease of it for making tips, though. Also WaWa bodywave is not as soft as the straight. I think metalgirl said hers were dried out and stuff. I agree with that 100%. We'll see how long it lasts. Still diggin it over human hair.

It is absolutely smokin'.
I have to add my 2 cents here to say the same thing about the bodywave WaWa. It does blow. It's coarser than the straight, and I've been wearing it in clips and not digging it one bit. I really do like the straight, tho. Now if there was hair that was an exact mix of the silkiness/curlabililty/nontangliness of WaWa with the finer texture and colors of PH, THAT would be perfect!

Amm, you did an amazing job!  The color has a lot of depth...so realistic.  And it seems her hair wasn't exactly short to begin with.

I really need to get going on some pretips.  Do you think anyone would notice if I turned my cubicle into a hair salon?   =)
