I received my shrinkies today from www.shrinkies.net (thank you, Amm!)
The clear ones look just like the docs, identical (but WAY cheaper!!). I haven't applied them yet, tho. The black ones are cool too, they seem to have more of a rubbery feel to them. I'm gonna test some out tonight and report back... I have a couple of the MB links in my possesion, and I think these are prob. the cadalac of the bunch... would you say that, Amm? None-the-less... these are sweet, & way cheaper!!

Thank you ladies again for all your wisdom and advise on this board! I'm a newbie and I just received my order from shrinkies.net today. My best friend is going to help with the install. I'm so excited!
I bought the clear shrinkies in regular and long size and the remover. The remover smells great too.
Amm, I don't know you but I know one thing....your a sweetheart....thanks for throwing in the soap with my order! It's just delicious! It smells sooo good and my face felt clean and fresh after I washed with it. I'll have to order some for my dog!
Thats sorted then i will order some. Do you think amm will sell the applicator / disconnector and threading tool also? I think i might order some of her soap too, there's lots of choice on her other website :)
Cool, everyone seems to be getting them. Love that priority shipping.
They're not exactly like Doc Locks. They're a little firmer (but definitely flexible)and they have a little more adhesive. If you look at the sample strand I included, you can actually see the clear adhesive came out the sides and its keeping the edges of the shrinkie flat. I dig that. That's the great result of the double-sided fusion wand and it's also going to keep product and water from getting under the shrinkie so they'll stay in longer and hopefully eliminate that cloudy effect that happens over time. In a perfect whirled, all the shrinkies would look like that installed. Alas, it would be great to duplicate that result on every strand.
The black ones are softer and they have the same clear adhesive inside. They are the exact same part number according to the ole fart who ordered the spool for me but I think he craps his pants sometimes and doesn't realize it so whadda ya gonna do. All I know is that they're workin like a charm so far.
For overseas orders I'll need to know the amount wanted because weight and the dimension of the package is what I use to calculate the postage. USPS has it all mapped out for use when it comes to different countries so I'll have to check each one as they come in. Drop me a note but tell me what you'll want and I'll do some checking.
