HI ladies! I'm sistaslick! 

I just wanted to introduce myself!  I'm 4a relaxed and flirting with the idea of transitioning.  Still on the fence about that one!  I'm new to this board, but definitely not new to hair care- I've been at this for almost a year now and its boards like these that I can thank for the health of my hair.  Happy hair growing everyone!

Sista slick what brand of products do you use and have you always had long hair? Your hair is the goal that I am trying to reach. I am going natural and it seems the groeing process is slow.

I also wanted to stop in and say hi!!  I've been registered on thsi board for awhile, but I got confused and forgot I was registered here until...now!  I've been on a mission to take care of my hair fr about 6 months now, and thats to all the help I've been getting, I'm actually seeing a difference!  I also have a fotki!

I'm thinking about transitioning too but that will mean my hair will take so much longer to grow because I'll have to cut the relaxed hair off.

Hey Kally!  All of my products are in the about me and welcome section of my hair album . . . I just use everyday products really- no salon products, nothing expensive.  I am cheap

I'm coming up on week 18 of no relaxer and I am feelin' the call to relax.  I was trying to get to 24 weeks (6mos) and then decide from there whether to actually transition or just call it a long stretch.  Right now, I'm leaning toward relaxing at that point.

SISTA!!!!! How you been doing girl. I tried looking at your fotki, but you changed you pw...can I see?

I too am trying to transition. It's been 5 months 2 weeks and I am hanging in there.  I have braids in now and I'll decide when I take these braids out.  Anywhoo, welcome along.
