I found the ad in my Now magazine.  A lot of people don't like wigs because you can tell they are wigs on the parting but these incorporate your own parting so I think they're brill xx

yeah that was my problem. Its really hard to match the peekaboo scalp to your own skin. But their idea sounds alot better. It also sounds like it would help your scalp breath alot better.Wigs can get pretty itchy.

Great minds think alike

I posted the NewHair thing yesterday on the BBBH boards.

Great wigs ... they look so real ... my mum has one.

Great idea, I bet they look great on your head. The only unfortunate thing about them, is that they cover your whole head. Now if they made a partial wig just for the top of your head? Then you could wear extensions underneath?? It would be good for women with icky hair or balding hair on the top, but have their own hair in the back of their head. Mabey they custom make. E.

I've been kind of looking around for something like that, a wig that allows you to use your own part.  The only problem for me is I kindo of have a sensitive scalp and I need something without clips and combs, they tend to hurt by the end of the day.

I have some hair loss clients where I use a topper piece on the top of the head and then extensions on the sides and back.  It works out nicely.

Anytime you are using these toupee clips, I find they stay in more securely if you tease the hair spray the hair in which you are going to clip them to.

I want to order one of these wigs and see if I like it, because if I do, it would be great to offer them to my clients!

Thanks for finding this website!

metalgirl, where can I get a topper? I'm looking for something to cover the top of my head until my hair grows out long enough for extensions, but I don't want to use glue. I would like to get something temporary to let my head breath. Your clients are really lucky to have you.

amanda, thanks for that website. I emailed them to find out if they make partials but i haven't heard back yet. Great wedding pictures by the way, you looked stunning. E.

If you're a licensed stylist, you can order directly from any of the wholesale hair piece companies- New Concepts Hairgoods, Onrite / Gemtress, or International Hairgoods.  They will only sell to professionals who have an account with them.

As for buying one retail, I think that www.hisandher.com   sells them, and I know I saw them on other retail sites on the Internet.

Sorry I can't be of better help to you!
