Hey everyone - Heather from Atlanta (h347hor@aol.com) did my new pinchbraids with Plastikhaar. love love love. kinda chickened out of the super blonde, but i went a little blonder. the underlayers are blended vanille with some kirschrot and the upper layers are weizen with some champaigner blonde and again some vanille. heather is a hairpolice affiliate. i'll post her hairpolice info in a sec...
before .....i scratched out the face as i look a bit like a meth addict...
after.....
this pic was taken right after the install and looks a bit piecey - i have some better pics i'll post later to show how natural the PH can look with a little time to "settle in"...
it seems like i always screw up picture posting somehow and have to fiddle around with them....
thanks everybody..i love it. it took around 5 hrs i think? heather is a little worker bee, never took a break...at the start she spends time blending the hair and brushing it so it looks a lot more blended from the get go?
i don't know if anybody else has this experience with the PH - i love the just-out-of-the-bag silkiness but it almost seems to be extra tangly at that stage? after a couple days of wear, biosilk, brushing, etc it is much less tangly. for me i feel like it's the wear and not specifically anything i do to it that makes it kinda simmer down....

Smokin' bombshell blonde, Cheryl!! LOVE the kirschrot! Good info on the PH, too. Thanks.
I like this install (I liked the other one, too) - it's hottie blonde! Your first colors were pretty as well, but very natural. Or should I say "AND very natural." There's just something about pale blonde that's eyecatching/headturning that you just don't get any other way. Did you use 28mm last time, or am I high? It seemed like the pictures of the first install were wavier (not curly but wavy).
Your stylist did an awesome job!

thanks syren - you know, some of this is hair leftover from my last install which i just kinda kept in a bag knotted. i think the wave relaxed a bit uncurled perhaps? i used 50 mm with both...i'm gonna slap in a few big hot rollers tonight and see how it goes. i'm not sure if the tangly thing is related to coating product? i feel like even today (install was monday) that after a few rounds of biosilk and some flasher spray it's easier to work with..
bridget..i think the problem may be photobucket coming in and out? i just got the pics and had them leave again? hmm.

Ditto what Sherrie said. Synth looks way shinier than it is when
photographed, and in this case, the hair was just installed. Synth is a
bit shiny when first installed, but it loses that shine quickly--after
about two or three washes. :)
