You probably won't be able to get -really- nice hair for that price...you can get hisandher.com's regular quality for about $50 a bag ($100 total), which I'd actually recommend over Hairpiece.com's hair. The H&H will be lower quality and coarser, but it also means it tangles less because it's got thicker strands. Just remember to give it a -ton- of conditioner!

It's hard to say how much hair you'll need without knowing how short and thin your hair is, how long and thick you're planning to make it ( I assume 18 inches), how far up on the head you're planning to go, which method you're using, etc. But generally one bag is rarely enough for an install, unless you're just doing streaks or something. I'd order two.

:)

hmm... well im trying to buy all the hair i need for under 160. any suggestions of stores online? thanks<3

I haven't tried the 909, but I used the 101 twice- once I wasn't impressed, and the second time it turned into giant dry fuzziness. It was ooogly. For less than the 909 costs, you could get Bohyme form ebonyline.om which I've only used once but liked far better (and it's gotten good reviews from other people here).

And for going short-to-long, I find I need at least 1.5 packs of hair, so buy two. I think one is only sufficient if you're filling out thin hair, or using really short extension hair (like 10"). Oh, and bags of hair are usually 4 ounces, or a quarter-pound.
